James k Baxter died.

22 October  1972 James k. Baxter died.
He died in Auckland, aged 46.
James k Baxter died of Coronary thrombosis.
He was made poetry for kids and he also works among alcoholics and drug addicts.

 Today in New Zealand history Chief Justice Sir James Prendergast’s statements when delivering judgment in the case of Wi Parata v The Bishop of Wellington. Prendergast was attorney-general from 1865 to 1875, and then chief justice of the Supreme Court until 1899. The Wi Parata case involved a block of land at Porirua, which Ngāti Toa wanted a school but he said no. so they Māori land just went to waste of Māori.
